A local media association and several auto manufacturers worked together to present a spring rally and driving event that included a day at GingerMan Raceway. About 70 auto writers had a chance to exercise a number of different cars, unencumbered by speed limits, oncoming traffic and officers of the law. Speed Merchants Ltd handled the race track portion of the event, arranging the track rental, insurance, track staffing and emergency vehicles, and managing all on-track activities, including driver instructions and track control. The association members expressed great satisfaction with the event and the manufacturers expect some good ink from this chance for the writers to try their vehicles on this unrestricted venue.
